‘People power’ is in our own hands. So
often we bemoan Israel’s PR. Well, here is your chance to make changes.
Everybody can do something. We shall guide and help you with whatever action you
choose to take.
For those who
speak and write foreign languages, you can work within our ‘Country Teams’
program:
- Monitor press, radio and TV in your language; report issues that
you feel need action
- Adopt a representative of the foreign media or diplomatic corps
living in Israel; invite him or her to your home
- Write letters to the press
- Telephone radio stations either to speak or give messages
- Translate or edit written material
- Communicate with and inform an international organization
- Communicate with: your contacts in your home country -
parliamentarians, MEPs (Members of European Parliament), Members of Congress,
media in your country
- Be in contact with friends who live in your country or origin to
keep informed on what the media there is saying
- Look for acquaintances that would like to help you build a
team
For Hebrew language speakers and
writers:
- Write,
translate or edit into Hebrew from other languages
- Be a
telephone contact with victims of terror attacks –Russian speakers also needed
here
- Lobby Israeli
offices and institutions on specific issues - an enormously important task which
requires tenacity and patience.
For communicators:
- Train other communicators who need help
- Train people traveling to or living abroad who want to speak to
small groups of people in ‘drawing room’ meetings
- Train victims of terror attacks to give their message
- Give guidance on written material
For all language speakers:
- Research information
- Help us organize events - you can work from home or from our
Netanya office
- Attend vigils to give support to victims of terror
attacks
- Be part of our team by placing a link to our website on your
website
